Together, Steffi Bednarek and Bec Davison will discuss the psychological and social constructs that lead to feelings of stuckness and paralysis in the face of complex global challenges. In this conversation, hosted by Kira Cooper, they will explore how understanding the psychological impacts of interdependent issues such as climate change and social issues can open up possibilities in communication and relationships, informing policy-making in the social sciences and humanities.
Bec has dedicated her entire career to working with people on the edges of society. Utilising her leadership positions, Bec has diligently inquired into and challenged the harmful aspects of the systems she has worked within.
Steffi, with over 25 years of experience in systemic change and trauma therapy, supports individuals and organisations to address the urgent need for regenerative change in ways that go beyond the mere correction of what is visible on the surface. Steffi's work supports professionals across all sectors to stay resilient, adaptive, creative and responsive in the face of global upheaval and climate anxiety, whilst also increasing awareness of our systemic entanglement with the very culture we try to change.
