2023 ECO-Award Winner First Place

Michael Jodah is a graduate of the BES and MES programs at the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. Michael is just finishing up his Ph.D. degree in Education and will soon be mobilizing his research that examined student environmental initiatives at post-secondary institutions across Canada.

He hopes to improve the effectiveness of student environmental activism with his research and its dissemination. Michael's biggest achievement has been as the driving force behind Regenesis. Michael is a Co-Founder and has served as the Executive Director of Regenesis from 2009-2022. Regenesis has been a vehicle for thousands of students to be involved in realizing their sustainability goals.
